Document Storage
Hills Wills work in association with National Will Safe Ltd to provide professional storage of clients Wills and related documents.
The original Will is the only legally valid document as copies and computer records do not have an original signature on them.
If you keep your original Will at home and your Will becomes damaged in any way this may raise questions to why the damage was inflicted and the courts could throw your Will out as being invalid.
If your original Will becomes misplaced, lost or stolen your Executors will be faced with additional workload and stress when the time comes for them to administer your estate.
At National Will Safe :-
- Your Will is kept in a waterproof wallet in a specialist document archive facility.
- Your Will is fully insured.
- Your Executors are provided with a unique identity number and telephone number and details on how to obtain your Will after your death.
- Your Will is returned to yourself, your Executors or Hills Wills, at any time using an insured delivery service - free of charge.
- The location of your Will is recorded on the National Wills Register - free of charge.
